On March 2nd 2024, the Gribo Popoli hydro power project has successfully started the reservoir filling, 60 days ahead of schedule.
OTEC has been present for the ceremony event which reunited more than 400 people around the project, including the DG of CI Energies Mr. Noumory Sidibé, and the Prefet of the Nawa region Kouamé Bi Kalou Clément.
The project is located on the Sassandra River in southwestern Côte d'Ivoire, with a total installed capacity of 112MW.
