On October 24, 2024, the acceptance committee, composed of the project owner, Cameroon Electricity Development Corporation, and the Owner’s Engineer, French engineering firm TRACTEBEL, completed the final acceptance of the Transmission Lines and Substations project for the Memve'ele Hydropower Station, constructed by PowerChina. The project has thus successfully handed over.
OTEC Engineering, as the main designer for the project, provided design consulting services ranging from basic design to as-built design.
